pastels on Fabiano 160 gr/m2 white pastel paper
12" X 9" (30,5 cm X 23 cm)

One of the most beautiful animals that I truly love and a guide of mine is the wolf. When I saw this wolf I knew I had to paint it some way. The way that came up was pastels. Justifying this noble creature was a goal I hope I served.

autumn cat

pastel on Fabiano 160 gr. paper
29 x 23 cm (11,5" x 9")

Autumn is full of magnificent colors: goldens, yellows, reds, browns and all the shades of them. I love them and since recently I am into pastels I decided to work on this cute autumn cat with blue eyes that shine their cold light inside all the warm colors.

Hide and Seek Cat

pastel on Fabiano 160 gr. paper
23 x 29 cm (9" x 11,5")

My new painting.  I had it for some time on my desk and I just had to finish it!   I suspect that my cat Merlin will soon ask me (again!) for his portrait...

Spiral lady

oil on canvas
6" x 8" (15 x 20 cm)

This is my newest lady bug.  It's also my second spiral.  I love the spiraling concept and I found this image irresistible.  Spring is in the air and bugs going out are becoming more and more favorites.

Bid for my painting here. :)

Lady Zerbera

8" x 6" (20 cm x 15 cm)
oil on canvas side painted

It is well known that lady bugs are my favorite bugs.  This is a tiny one at the back of a zerbera.  I mostly like the flower itself than the lady.  I worked hard on this one but the result reward me for my work.  The next one with also have a lady.  Spring, season of ladies!  How can my painting escape from them?

tiny blue

oil on canvas (side painted)
6" x 8" (15 cm x 20 cm)

I saw this blue beauty one day I was walking by in a flower filled alley.  It was very tiny but it caught my attention anyway.  I was attracted to photo it with my mobile and I had to magnify it a lot to get the details of it.  I knew I would paint it one day.  That day was yesterday and the result made me smile.  I still keep this smile in my heart.

Check my painting here. :)

Peony close up

oil on canvas panel
6" x 6" (15 cm x 15 cm)

Peony close up.  Peonies are so interesting flowers with their many petals.  Very interesting to paint and feel their essence in the painting.  This will be one of many close ups that will follow.
The reference photo belongs to Maria Balcells from PMP - thank you Maria!

oil on canvas panel
6" x 6" (15 cm x 15 cm)

I like insects and I enjoy it entering their magnificent world. This bee helped me go back to memories and crave for spring.

Drop in Orange

oil on canvas
6" x 6" (15 cm x 15 cm)

A water drop falling in an orange background.  Blue and orange, as complementary colors, give life to each other.  The drop is falling but will never fall - it seems like a quantum physics issue.

Check my painting here. :)
